SCHOOL'S OUT - MOMMY & ME - WATERMELON CAKE CLASS
DATE: THURSDAY, JUNE 8TH
TIME: 6pm to 8pm
COST: $65/per team of 1 adult/1 child (includes a "start up kit" that you will take home at the end of the night - description below of what will be included)

**no other "summer" kid's cake classes will be scheduled - fall classes are being planned.

Hey Mommy's out there! Let's start SUMMER VACATION off in a fun way ... let's decorate a cake!!!
What just SCREAMS SUMMER?!!?!?! .... WATERMELONS!!!
We will be decorating this adorable WATERMELON cake together. It's fun! It's simple! It can be done with kids of any age. THIS IS A MOMMY & ME CLASS (so one adult and one child under 12) - just remember, the younger the child- the more the adult may have to do. This class will be held in the Fellowship Hall (basement) of the Brush Valley Chapel in Brush Valley, PA. The address for the church is 3021 Route 259 Hwy. N, Indiana PA 15701 (Brush Valley Township) - between my bakery & Yellow Creek State Park. Brush Valley Chapel is known for hosting the Pancake & Sausage dinners on election days.
**These will be 8" cakes that serve approximately 20 people.** This specific class will have the following in the "start-up" kit: 2 pastry tips, 3 different gel colors (leaf green, lime green & red) and an offset spatula. I will have the cakes baked and the icing made/individually bagged up. We will make the "seeds" on the top during the class using black fondant.
During this class you will learn to level and fill your cake, ice the cake with a crumb coat, tint all your own frosting, fill your pastry bags, and decorate your own watermelon! We will work step-by-step together and all of the items in the start-up kit will be yours to keep and practice on your own.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*Registrations accepted until Monday, May 29, 2023 (10 days prior to class) or until I reach a FULL CLASS.
*Class must be PRE-PAID so I can order all my supplies and have them organized for class night.
*Class will start ON-TIME! No late arrivals! Please arrive early so you have time to get your supplies, find a spot and get comfortable before we begin at 6pm.
*If you cancel after you have PAID, please contact me. If I can find someone to take your spot I will refund you.
*Part of the class fee includes a "START UP KIT". The kit is included in the class price and you will TAKE HOME the items in the kit to add to your own kitchen supplies. In each class that I host, I include different items in their "start up kit". They are specific to the cake we are making that day (ex: gel color, offset spatula, piping tips, cookie cutter, etc.) and these "take home" supplies are included in the class price since I order them for you to keep.
