This 2-tier buttercream cake was delivered to Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Vintondale for the Graham/Patterson wedding. The cake was (top) Banana/Banana Cream and (bottom) Devil's Chocolate/Gob Cream with Swiss Meringue buttercream frosting on both tiers. I did a palm leaf stencil on the bottom tier. There were also cupcakes for guests - Red Velvet/Cream Cheese and White Almond/Vanilla Buttercream.

This 2-tier ribbon cake was White Almond with Buttercream filling and frosting. The cake had silk eucalyptus leaves and silk flowers and they incorporated their little dog into the design by giving me a figuring to use on the cake board (it's sneaking some wedding cake). I also provided cupcakes for more guest servings. It was delivered to Joiner Family Farms.

This gorgeous 2-tier buttercream "birch tree" wedding cake was delivered to The Barn at Rayne Run in Marion Center. The top cake was Devil's Chocolate Chunk with Vanilla Buttercream filling and the bottom cake was Banana with Chocolate Cream filling. The flowers were silk. I also provided cupcakes for guests. They. had the same flavor combinations as the cake for cupcake flavors.

This beautiful cake was set up at Joiner Family Farms in Northern Cambria. The bride wanted a lace design on the front but loved a cake I did a bit back where I hand-drew a lace design. She requested a similar design but wanted the lace piping to start on the bottom tier and trail to the top cake. The flowers were silk. I also provided cupcakes (Snickerdoodle/Cinnamon, Cookies & Cream and Lemon/LemonCurd/Strawberry Buttercream) and cookies to round out their cookie table selection.

This 3-tier cake was delivered to Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort in Blairsville. The bride & groom loved the look of a classic 'ribbon' buttercream design and requested it in a 3-tier wedding cake. It was dressed with fresh roses and baby's - provided by their florist. I also baked three "kitchen" cakes for additional guest servings. All cakes were White Almond Cake with Brown Butter Buttercream filling.

This elegant cake was set up and delivered to The Roost Event Center in Mahaffey. The bride and groom wanted a super smooth buttercream design with just a simple bead border between the tiers. They wanted an elegant satin ribbon that was tied in a bow and cascaded from the top cake to the cake table below. Their last name is YOUNG and they picked a clever cake topper for their design. There was also a cake in the kitchen for extra guest servings.

This beautiful cake was set up at an outdoor venue in Butler called The Woods at Eisler Farms. It was such a unique outdoor setting and the cake the bride chose fit the setting perfectly. They requested a 2-tier cake with a gold splatter between tiers and fresh flowers on both the top and middle cake ledge. On the bottom cake there was a hand-piped flower design. {This was originally to be a stencil design, but as things would have it ... my stencil was giving me issues so I gave up and hand piped the entire thing myself.} I did attach a close-up of the flower piping work. I also provided 6-dozen cupcakes for the guests (3 flavor combinations/2-dozen each).

This 3-tier cake was all buttercream and hand-painted to look like birch tree logs. The flowers were silk and I arranged them onsite. The reception was held at Saltsburg River Hall in Saltsburg, PA. The bride and groom chose this 3-tier cake and 8-dozen cupcakes (4 flavor combinations/2-dozen each) to serve guests.

This 3-tier cake was delivered to Huber Hall in Latrobe, PA. The bride and groom liked the looks of several cakes and we combined the features they liked best to make one gorgeous 3-tier buttercream cake for their special day. The top tier and the bottom tier were smooth buttercream and the middle I hand-piped a buttercream scroll design. The silk flowers were arranged on an angle to cascade from the top cake down to the cake board below. I also provided one "kitchen cake" to get enough servings for their guests.

This elegant 2-tier cake was triple layer to make each tier a bit taller than my standard wedding cakes. The bride fell in love with a wedding cake she saw using wafer paper flowers and although it was a new concept for me, I gave it a try. We used fresh flowers on the cake for the topper and along the base of the bottom tier. There were also 10-dozen cupcakes for guests. This wedding was held at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg.

This 2-tier elegant cake was set up at The Red Star Barn in Clyde, PA. Everything was gorgeous at this venue and the bride had such cute touches everywhere. The cake was adorned with feathers, silk ribbons, dried flowers and the bottom tier had a lace stencil added (closeup in the photo below). There were also cupcakes for extra guest servings done in different buttercream flower colors/techniques.

This pretty "Boho" wedding cake was for my son and his new wife. I started out 2023 with a wedding in my own family. It was a Vanilla Cake with Caramel Toffee Crunch filling and Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting. They used a photo of themselves as the topper and I dressed it up with flowers, feathers and pearls to match the brides bouquet. They chose to have the wedding dinner at The Lobster Shack in Jeannette since it was just a small wedding with only family in attendance.

This fun “UP” themed wedding cake was delivered to The Mayernik Center in Pittsburgh. The bride and groom did a 1/2 & 1/2 cake. The front was hand painted to look like Paradise Falls (from the movie) and the back was entirely of sprinkles. The cake was 1/2 White Almond and 1/2 Strawberry with Strawberry Cream filling. There were cupcakes for extra guest servings. White Almond/Strawberry with Strawberry cream filling and a 1/2 slice of strawberry, Devil’s Chocolate Chunk with Peanut Butter Frosting (no filling) and Cookies & Cream with Cookies & Cream filling.

This beautiful 4-tier cake was delivered to Chestnut Ridge Golf & Resort in Blairsville, PA. It was entirely a buttercream ribbon texture on the outside with fresh flowers. The cake flavors were Ebony & Ivory (white layer was Chocolate-Chip) with Cookies & Cream filling and Vanilla Cake with Strawberry Cream filling.

This sweet couple got married at Fairman’s Family Farms in Shelocta, PA. It is such a beautiful location for both a wedding ceremony and reception. The cake was Mint Chocolate- Chip with Mint Chocolate-Chip filling and covered in Buttercream. Hand painted to look like a birch tree. The cupcakes were both Chocolate and Vanilla with a pale blush pink Rosette to match their wedding.

This classy 3-tier cake was for a wedding on the back patio at Nap’s Cucina Mia in Indiana, PA. It was for a small, intimate wedding and reception that were both held at the restaurant site. The beautiful fresh flowers were provided by Flo’s Floral & Gifts in Homer City, PA. This cake was completely iced in black and gray ombré buttercream and then I used a black ganache for the drips.

This black & white wedding cake was delivered to the beautiful Joiner Farms Wedding & Event Center in Northern Cambria. The top and bottom cakes were iced in Whipped Buttercream but the middle tier was covered in black fondant. All handmade gumpaste flowers cascaded down the front of the cake. There were also cupcakes for extra guest servings as well as I supplied mini Cherry Cheesecake and Lady Lock cookies for their cookie table.

This three tier cake was setup and delivered to the always elegant Indiana Country Club. The entire cake was White Almond Sour Cream with a Raspberry Purée & Buttercream filling. The bottom cake was covered in buttercream Rosettes and the two top tiers were iced smooth with a buttercream lace pattern. I also provided some Peach Cookies to round out their cookie table.

This gorgeous 3-tier Galaxy Wedding cake was delivered to Hinckston Run Farm. Gorgeous location for this super fun cake and cupcakes. The top two cakes were hand-painted in Galaxy colors and the bottom cake in a ribbon textured buttercream. Adorned with some silver sugar dragees. I also made some cupcakes for extra guest servings.

This beautiful cake was delivered to The Barn at Maple Falls in Rockwood, PA. The fresh flowers were provided fresh for me to cut and place on-site and I was delighted with my selection. They looked gorgeous with the cake and barn setting. This 4-tier cake was all buttercream - hand painted to look like birch logs.

This 3-tier cake was delivered to family property of the wedding couple. They rented a large tent and had both the ceremony & reception on-site. It was a small intimate wedding with o my closest family & friends so the cake was large enough for party guests. I also provided Peach Cookies, Lady Locks and Silver Dollar Gobs to round out their cookie table.

This “Cinderella” inspired pumpkin cake was adorned with almost 500 sugar pearls - hand placed by me. It was for a reception held at Deertrak Golf Course in Kittanning/Rural Valley, PA. I also provided cupcakes for the guest as well as a few varieties of cookies for their cookie table. The barn was decorated so beautifully with a different “pumpkin” as a centerpiece on every guest table. You should have seen it! The brides mom asked me to set up their cookie table (this request was made in advance) so I arranged, plated and displayed all the cookies their family and friends baked for their celebration (including the ones I made for them).

This beautiful wedding & reception were held at The Fairman Family Farms in Shelocta, PA. It was a 3-tier buttercream cake, with burlap ribbon around the base of all 3 cakes and a cascade of wooden flowers from top to the bottom base. This super fun 3-tier cake just matched the decorations in the venue beautifully. Once again, this wedding was to have taken place during 2020, but due to COVID, they chose to move their wedding to July 2021. There was enough cake here to feed all the wedding guests and I provided a separate anniversary tier. Fresh flowers were added to the top and side of the cake. The wedding and the reception were both held at The Farm on the Ridge in Hooverville, PA.

This was a super simple and elegant 2-tier wedding cake with gorgeous fresh flowers and greenery. Both the wedding and reception were held in the bride’s parents backyard. Due to COVID, the reception venue they originally booked was unable to tell them how many guests they could invite so they cancelled their booking and rented a huge tent. The wedding ceremony was held poolside and the reception was in a gorgeous tent with A/C. I also did a groom's cake and cupcakes for the rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding.

This celebration was supposed to take place on New Year’s (2020), but due to COVID, the wedding was postponed to May 2021. The reception was held at The Rustic Lodge in Indiana, PA and in addition to the 3-tier Ribbon Buttercream cake, there were also 6-dozen cupcakes and a separate anniversary cake (boxed to be taken home). This wedding was to take place in June, but due to COVID-19 hitting us all hard this year (cancelling group plans) -my bride and groom decided on a small intimate wedding with only family and close friends in early May. The wedding and reception was held at their home church and the 3-tier cake was entirely covered in pale pink fondant and adorned with both white and pink sugar pearls. Fresh flowers arranged on the top and side of the cake. The top and bottom tiers were both Strawberry Cake with Marshmallow Cream filling and the middle tier was White Almond Cake with Marshmallow Cream filling.

This was the very first wedding for The Red Star Barn in Clyde, PA. Brand new event hall in our area and a beautiful venue. The bride and groom wanted a small “naked” cake with fresh fruit for cutting and then we did cupcakes for the guests. The cake was White Almond with Raspberry Buttercream and the cupcakes were White Almond and Chocolate - some had raspberry buttercream filling (raspberry on top) and some had Strawberry buttercream filling (strawberry on top).

This 2-tier “birch tree” buttercream cake was delivered to the beautiful Chetremon Golf Course and Event Venue in Cherry Tree, PA. They have a brand new reception hall that is gorgeous - huge glass garage doors that open to being the outdoors inside. The cake was Lemon Cake with Swiss Meringue Buttercream filling and frosting. There were also Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Cream filling and Vanilla Cupcakes with Strawberry Buttercream filling to serve their guests.

This elegant 4-tier buttercream cake was delivered to the Indiana Country Club in Indiana, PA. It had alternating tiers of Lemon Cake with Raspberry Buttercream and White Almond with Strawberry Buttercream filling. The fresh flowers were provided by Indiana Floral. Due to COVID restrictions, this reception was moved from the ballroom to elegant poolside to accommodate wedding guests. (Both photos used were professional photos by McDonald Video. Due to a threat of rain that day, I left the cake in the walk in cooler and it was carried outside to the cake table once the reception started. My only pictures were taken in the refrigerator).

This 2-tier square wedding cake was delivered to the beautiful Rustic Lodge in Indiana, PA. The bride and groom both play instruments - drums and trumpet- and they wanted their love of music incorporated into their wedding cake. They purchased the custom topper and the dark purple orchids were gum paste. The rest of the details were buttercream with a few colored sugar pearls.

This 4-tier romantic wedding cake was held at the beautiful Visnesky Winery in Belle Vernon, PA. The top tier was White Almond Sour Cream with Strawberry Cream filling, the short second tier was White Almond Sour Cream, the third tier was Cookies & Cream and the bottom tier was Chocolate with Vanilla Cappuccino and Caramel filling. The flowers on top were provided by Flo’s Floral in Homer City. The cake was ice in buttercream with only the gold scalloped work on the he top tier in fondant. The bottom tier was decorated in pale pink buttercream rosettes in varying sizes. It was a beautiful summer day and only the SECOND wedding where I attended as a wedding guest (made me nervous)! I also made some of the wedding cookies at this wedding.

Once again I was asked to do a wedding cake at the beautiful The Barn At Rayne Run in Marion Center. This 3-tier cake was all buttercream with a textured “ribbon” design. The Bride & Groom both work (and met) at Beacon Ridge and wanted the residents to be able to attend their wedding. They invited their family & friends to join them at the nursing home for the wedding ceremony.

Matching "mini" cake
This mini cake was a request from the Bride & Groom for a little cousin attending the wedding that had a nut allergy. The 4-tier cake had peanut butter cream in some of the layers, so they asked me to make this one a vanilla cake filled and iced with vanilla buttercream.

Autumn Leaves Wedding Cake (2012 - Fry)This was a 4-tier round all buttercream wedding cake for Cortney and Shane. I made all of the gumpaste maple leaves and hand painted them in fall colors with pops of lime green on some. The bases of each cake were wrapped in brown satin ribbon. The bride added some "bling" to the personalized monogram cake topper to match the colors of the cake. This reception was at the Indiana Country Club.

This reception was held at the Kovalchick Center on IUP campus.
