COLORS OF AUTUMN - Decorating Class on Sunday, November 17, 2019
**PLEASE NOTE - new location. If you took a class with me in 2018, I am holding my 2019 classes at a different location. Please take note of the details below**
NEW LOCATION - I will be hosting a cake decorating class in the Fellowship Hall (basement) of Brush Valley Chapel in Brush Valley, PA. This class will be on Sunday afternoon November 17, 2019 from 3-5pm. Brush Valley Chapel is the little white church beside Riddle's Bait Shop on Route 259 - between my bakery and Yellow Creek State Park. {They host the PANCAKE & SAUSAGE dinners on election days.}
In this class, I will teach you how to level your cake, fill your cake, crumb coat & ice your cake and then decorate the cake in a beautiful buttercream "Birch Tree and Autumn Leaf" design. Everything needed to complete the cake as shown will be included. This is an 8" double-layer cake.
** Minimum of 5 registrations to hold the class. If I get less than 5 signed up, I will fully refund any fees paid or apply they money toward another cake class. Thank you!
IMPORTANT INFO:
*Registrations will be accepted from now until 11/7/2019 (10-days prior) or until I reach a FULL CLASS
*Class must be PRE-PAID so that I can get all supplies ordered, shipped and organized for the class.
*Class will start ON TIME. No late arrivals!! Please arrive EARLY so you have time to get your supplies, find a spot and get comfortable before we begin at 3pm. If you are more than 10 minutes late for the class, payment will be forfeited. No refunds given due to late arrivals.
*If you must cancel after you have PAID, please contact me. If we can find someone to take your spot, I will gladly refund you class fees.
*Class is appropriate for all ages, but ages 14 and up should be able to complete this task without a parent present. If you have a child under 14 that would like to share the project with you, you can register as "a team" - there will be an extra per person fee added.
*Part of the registration fee includes a "Start-up Kit". The kit is included in the class price and you will TAKE HOME the items in the kit after class is over. Each class "kit" is different for each cake event, but every class kit may include any mix of the following: a spatula, decorating tips needed to create the cake above, bench scraper,one Gel Icing Color/Dye, and/or any other items needed to complete the cake. All items are yours to take home to recreate the cake on your own time.
*No one is permitted upstairs in the church sanctuary! All class participants MUST remain the the basement/Fellowship Hall only. Thank you for understanding this request by the church.
Adult cost is $50. Adult cost, plus one child under 13 is $60 (extra $10 for team registration).
